Karel Dřevínek was one of the speakers at the prestigious C. H. Beck conference on M&A transactions

Karel Dřevínek, partner of Skils, was one of the speakers at the prestigious conference “M&A and General Meetings” organized by the C. H. Beck publishing house.

In his presentation, Karel focused on the issue of approvals of M&A transactions by the General Meetings, particularly on the changes introduced by the Amendment to the Business Corporations Act effective from January 1, 2021.

The conference was well received by the legal community. Besides Karel Dřevínek, other top Czech experts in corporate law, including Petr Šuk, the Vice-President of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, Ivana Štenglová, the Judge Emeritus of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, and Jan Dědič and Jan Lasák, the authors of professional commentaries, spoke at the conference.Photo: Nakladatelství C.
