Martin Koudelka received an important award in the Lawyer of the Year competition
Martin Koudelka, attorney-at-law of Skils, received the award in the Talent of the Year category, which is part of the Lawyer of the Year 20/21 competition.
Martin received the award for his work “EU Competition Protection as an Argument for the EU’s Accession to the Convention”, which was announced as the third best in the Talent of the Year category in the current two years.
The award-winning work explains why the European Union should no longer hesitate to fulfill its obligation to accede to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. In this regard, it refers, in particular, to the quasi-criminal powers of the EU authorities in the area of protection of competition. Results of the Lawyer of the Year 20/21 competition, which is organized by the Czech Bar Association and EPRAVO.CZ, were ceremonially announced on May 27 at a gala evening at the TOP Hotel Praha.
Martin Koudelka is the second attorney-at-law of Skils to be awarded in the Talent of the Year category in the Lawyer of the Year competition. In 2018, Stanislav Mikeš received the 2nd place award for his essay on the relationship between law and artificial intelligence.
