Chambers Europe Awards 2023: Skils nominated for the prestigious pan-European award for pro bono

Skils has been nominated for the pan-European Pro Bono: Outstanding Firm award for pro bono . The award is presented by the renowned British rating company Chambers and Partners as part of the Chambers Europe Awards 2023.

The ten finalists are law firms from several European countries, with Skils being the only law firm from the Czech Republic.

“We have been engaged in pro bono consultancy practically since the establishment of the company in 1992. Legal assistance to less fortunate members of our society is one of the highest values that a law firm can offer,” says Skils Managing Partner Karel Muzikář.

Skils is also the main partner of the Skils Endowment Fund which was established at the beginning of 2009 (as the WEIL, GOTSHAL – Endowment Fund) to contribute to the improvement and development of the quality of life of the individuals, the development of spiritual and material values and the application of basic human rights and humanitarian principles in society. Since 2009, the fund has supported hundreds of applications in the amount of almost CZK 11 million.
