- Mr. Kindl is a graduate of the Law School of Charles University (summa cum laude; Mgr., JUDr., Ph.D.) and the University of Oxford, Great Britain (M.Jur.); in Oxford he obtained “Moncton Chambers Prize in Competition Law”, “Winter Willliams European Business Regulation Prize” and “Clifford Chance Prize for the Best Performance in M.Jur. 2006”; he also studied law at the University of Limerick in Ireland
- Mr. Kindl is an author of many publications, including, among others, an university textbook on competition (Kindl, J. a kol. Soutěžní právo. 3. vyd. Praha : C.H. Beck, 2021), a commentary to the Czech Competition Act (Kindl, J., Munková, J. Zákon o ochraně hospodářské soutěže. Komentář. 3. vyd. Praha : C.H. Beck, 2016), a commentary to the Act on Significant Market Power (Kindl, J., Koudelka, M. Zákon o významné tržní síle. Komentář. Praha : C.H. Beck 2017), a commentary to the Act on Damages in the Area of Competition (Kindl, J., Pavelka, T., Hubková, P. Zákon o náhradě škody v oblasti hospodářské soutěže. Komentář. Praha : C.H. Beck 2019) and a monograph on cartel and distribution agreements (Kindl, J. Kartelové a distribuční dohody. Teorie a praxe. Praha : C.H. Beck, 2009). He also co-authored commentaries to the new Civil Code as regards provisions on unfair competition or commercial agency contracts
- Mr. Kindl gives regularly speeches at conferences on various competition law topics and also lectures competition law (incl. state aid) and competition economics at the Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague
- Prestigious publications monitoring the Czech legal market regularly place Mr. Kindl among the leading personalities in competition/antitrust and dispute resolution
