The Competition Commission of the ICC of the Czech Republic, the chairman of which is Jiří Kindl, has published its statement on the forthcoming methodology of punishment of the Office for the Protection of Competition

The Competition Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic (ICC CR), the chairman of which is Jiří Kindl, partner of Skils, has sent to the Office for the Protection of Competition (the Office) its statement on the forthcoming new methodology governing the procedure for imposing punishment and determining their amount for breaches of Act on the Protection of Competition.

In its statement, the Competition Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic summarizes its position on selected provisions of the methodology in preparation, including the intended further increase in the penalties to be imposed by the Office. The document is available on the website of the ICC CR.

“In case of your interest, we are also prepared to participate in further discussions with the Office for the Protection of Competition,” states Jiří Kindl, Chairman of the Competition Commission of the ICC CR.
