Skils advised Paprec Group on the acquisition of the Czech and Slovak business operations of Marius Pedersen

Skils advised France-based Paprec Group in connection with its acquisition of the Czech and Slovak business operations of the Danish group Marius Pedersen. The transaction represents one of the most significant M&A deals in the Czech Republic in 2026. Completion of the transaction is subject to the approval of the relevant competition authorities.

With annual revenue of almost EUR 400 million and more than 4,500 employees, the Marius Pedersen group is one of the leading providers of waste management services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Through its 40 facilities, the group processes 3 million tonnes of waste annually and serves more than 3 million citizens.

Paprec Group generates annual revenue of EUR 3.5 billion and employs 26,000 people across approximately 600 facilities in 15 countries. The transaction therefore represents an important milestone in its international expansion.
