Skils successfully represented Severočeské doly in a vertical agreements case

Skils has achieved another success in the judicial review of a decision issued by the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS). In proceedings before the Regional Court in Brno and subsequently before the Supreme Administrative Court, Skils secured the annulment of a previous decision of the Chairman of the ÚOHS, which had imposed a fine of CZK 19 799 000 on Severočeské doly for the alleged inclusion of prohibited export clauses in historical contracts for the supply of graded brown coal. The matter must now be reconsidered by the Chairman of the ÚOHS.

Following the BABY DIREKT and GARLAND distributor cases, this marks another successful representation of a client in a vertical agreements matter before the Czech administrative courts
