Skils successfully represented CETIN and the PPF Group in antitrust proceedings conducted by the European Commission regarding mobile network sharing in the Czech Republic

Skils represented CETIN and the PPF Group in proceedings conducted by the European Commission in the case of mobile network sharing in the Czech Republic, in which the Commission investigated whether the mobile network sharing agreements between T-Mobile and CETIN, or the mobile network service agreement between O2 and CETIN, constituted a breach of the rules of competition and had a negative impact on innovation in the area of telecommunication services in the Czech Republic.

The Commission did not find any such breach and the proceedings was terminated by accepting voluntary commitments aimed at, inter alia, contributing to the modernization of mobile networks and the improvement of mobile services in the Czech Republic (i.e., the proceedings was terminated without imposing any sanction).

On July 11, 2022, the Commission issued a press release on the decision to terminate the proceedings by accepting commitments, and the PPF Group also positively assessed this decision in its press release .
