Skils advises Česká spořitelna on the purchase of Hello bank’s loan portfolio from the French BNP Paribas Group

Skils provides comprehensive legal advice to Česká spořitelna, the largest Czech bank by number of clients, in connection with the purchase of Hello bank’s loan portfolio. The seller is the French BNP Paribas, the largest banking group in continental Europe.

As of May 2023, the volume of loan portfolio sold amounted to nearly CZK 9 billion. With approximately 200,000 transferred clients, this is Česká spořitelna’s largest M&A transaction so far in terms of the number of new clients.

The settlement of the transaction is subject to, among others, consents of the relevant regulatory authorities.
