{"id":222,"date":"2020-02-03T20:04:15","date_gmt":"2020-02-03T20:04:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/skils-new.cz.uvirt89.active24.cz\/?page_id=222"},"modified":"2023-01-03T10:20:12","modified_gmt":"2023-01-03T10:20:12","slug":"pro-bono","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/skils.cz\/en\/pro-bono\/","title":{"rendered":"Pro bono"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pro bono work is deeply rooted in our culture and so is the conviction that volunteering our skills to those less fortunate in our society belongs among the highest values a law firm can hold.<\/p>\n<h3>For instance, we have recently provided pro bono work to:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Charta 77 Foundation<\/strong> (Nadace Charty 77), a leading charitable organization in the Czech Republic. Its most well-known activity is the \u201cBarriers Account\u201d, a project which primarily focuses on people with health disabilities.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>B\u00e1tor T\u00e1bor Foundation<\/strong> which organizes camps for seriously ill children.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Club of Cystic Fibrosis<\/strong> in relation to its labor and contract law, as well as governance and operational issues. Furthermore, we helped some of its members when they were going through difficult life situations.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Club for Old Prague<\/strong> which is active in the field of historic preservation, more precisely in relation to the planned restoration of the Judith Tower of the Charles Bridge in Prague, a national cultural monument.<\/li>\n<li>The preparation of an architectural project called the <strong>Czech Sustainable Houses<\/strong>. This is a project of a self-sufficient building using self-produced electricity, thus fundamentally contributing to a sustainable future.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Hippotherapy Centre Mir\u00e1kl<\/strong>, a charitable organization, which organizes hippotherapy courses.
